Birthed out of a season of the calamity in 2020, there was a ship that dared to venture out into perils to reach a dreamer in need, loaded with provisions. The ship endeavored not to bring them home but rather to push them out into their destiny for "His Glory". The ship was named "BW Group Corporation" and the dreamer was "You"
BW Group Corporation helps organizations and servant leaders get access to leadership development services that include leadership resources, speaking, coaching, and corporate training services. We want to help ordinary people transform into the extraordinary servant leaders they are called to be..
BW Group Core Tenants based on Christian Principles found in the Bible detailed below:
· We are a Christian organization called to serve others
o Romans 10:9- “If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
· We believe that God has a mighty plan for everyone.
o Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
· We believe that we are charged to love God and love one another in life and in business.
o Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
· We believe that we are charged to share Gods message of love in life and in business
o Deuteronomy 6:4-9 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
· When business gets tough, we believe in pressing on in faith
o James 1:2 - “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything..”
· We need to love our customers, coworkers, and the communities we serve.
o Matthew 5: 43-48 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
· We are charged to be lights in business and in life
o Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
· We have been all called to be servant leaders who can both follow and lead.
o Matthew 20: 25-28 “25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
· Sometimes in life or business hard times arrive, but be encouraged to persevere by faith in the Lord our Savior Jesus Christ
o Matthew 5: 11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
· We should strive to be ambassadors in all spheres of life that reflect the Lords precepts, understanding that we might not be perfect but the Lords way is our standard.
o 1 Timothy 4:12- “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
· We believe that God is best advisor, consultant, and counselor. We encourage people everywhere to engage in prayer and to go to God for wisdom not only in business but in all aspects of life.
o Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”
· We know that family should be first and business second to achieve divine success
o Joshua 24:15 “But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.”
· We believe that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail
o Luke 14:28 Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
